About ‘Two Wolves (1913) by Franz Marc’ by Peter Balan

Franz Marc (1880-1916) was a German painter and co-founder of the expressionist Blaue Reiter. He is known for his colourful paintings of animals, especially horses, which he depicted in abstract form. Marc developed his own pictorial language and used strong, bright colours to achieve an emotional effect.
