About "Tulips in a vase"

About the artwork

Tulips are colourful flowers and come in all shapes and sizes. Tulips are bulbous plants in the lily family. Originally from Kazakhstan, they were introduced to Europe as early as the 16th century. Tulips are often bought in bouquets, with the flowers still in bud. After a few days, the stems start to grow and the flowers open. In a few days, the flowers change greatly in appearance. The tulips in the picture are at the peak of their flowering. Or just past the peak, opinions may differ on that. It is a tipping point. The flowers are fully open and you can see the pistils and stamens. They don't drop the petals just yet. The flower stems are long, so the flowers hang over far. Another day and the petals will fall off. The wilting tulips have a beauty all their own. The tulips' spectacular change in shape and appearance in a few days makes them a symbol of the transience of life.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
