About "Tulips in Plains"

About the artwork

In Tulips in Planes, the classic still life of a flower vase is reinvented in a contemporary way. The tulips, normally graceful and natural in form, are captured here in a stylised, almost abstract composition in which areas of colour play the leading role. The flowers are composed of bold, even colours - white, red, orange, purple and pink - which stand out powerfully against a background of geometric planes in warm earth tones and cooler pastels.

The brush strokes are visible and rich in texture, making the work feel tactile and alive. Each petal and leaf is suggested by shape and colour, rather than by detail or realism. The background - composed of blocks of pink, old rose, ochre yellow and midnight blue - contributes to a harmonious yet playful whole in which foreground and background sometimes merge.

This painting invites a different way of looking: not at what it represents, but at how it is constructed. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
