A red-and-yellow tulip, gleaming from fresh raindrops, stands proudly in the soft light of a grey spring morning. Its petals, with their fiery colour gradient from deep red to warm yellow, seem even more intense because of the moisture that collects in tiny beads on its surface. Each drop reflects the surrounding landscape - the sky, the field, perhaps even the outline of other flowers.
The tulip, a symbol of Dutch flowering power, here shows itself vulnerable and powerful at the same time. The rain emphasises its vividness, as if nature wants to let its colours speak for themselves. All around is quiet, except for the soft tapping of the rain. The earth is dark and damp, the green of the stems fresh and full of promise.
This tulip tells a story of contrasts: sun and rain, colour and silence, strength and softness. A snapshot in which the beauty of spring and the simplicity of a raindrop come together.
