About "Tulip field"

About the artwork

A sea of tulips stretches in tight rows as far as the eye can see. This photo taken in the Northeast Polder shows the Dutch bulb landscape at its most characteristic: grand, orderly and full of colour. The tulips, in a warm salmon-pink hue, line up tightly, with deep green leaves at their feet. Narrow paths run between the rows, adding structure to the picture and leading the eye naturally to the horizon.

The light mist in the background makes the perspective infinite, while the foreground is sharp and rich in detail. You can almost see spring moving: the tulips are on the verge of full bloom, the air is soft, and the stillness of the land palpable. This is spring as you only find it in the Netherlands.

For lovers of flowers, rurality, patterns and seasonal landscapes, this image shows the power of repetition and colour. It is a tribute to the cultural landscape of the polder; carefully constructed, but full of natural beauty.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
