Tug Rotterdam en route to a container ship.
The bow wave and propeller water the tug is in a hurry.
In the background the Hoek van Holland traffic control center the buildings of Hoek van Holland.
The buoys in the background and the calm water of the Nieuwe Waterweg.
The tugboat on its way to assist a container ship to the Maasvlakte always a spectacular sight to see those large ships sailing. The powerful tugs always busy assisting those big ships.
On this sunny day I was lucky that a few large ships came in so I could photograph the tugs.
During the maneuvers and the transfer of the towlines. On the New Waterway there is always something to photograph.
Raw and the port as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is a different world. The landscape of the harbor is always in motion. The ships, the people and the landscape continue to fascinate me.
