A tribute to Jean Paul Gaultier (1952) he is a former french fashion designer. He had 2 collections under his own name, a ready-to-wear line and a haute-couture collection. Gaultier's trademark is the mariniere, many of his designs contain references to the sailor's uniform. No print is as popular yet timeless as the Breton stripe. He is also known for the corsets with pointed bra cups that he designed for pop artist Madonna during her 'Blonde Ambition Tour' in the 90s. He not only created clothing but also perfume for women and men. On 17 January 2020, Gaultier announced that he would be retiring from design after a 50-year career. His last show took place on 22 January 2020.
