About the artwork

Tree frog on a leaf of a blackberry bush. Photographed from the front. With beautiful light behind the frog. The frog blends nicely into the surroundings with its green color.

The tree frog or European tree frog (Hyla arborea) is a frog in the family tree frogs (Hylidae).

The photo was taken in June 2022, in Friesland.

The tree frog is found in much of Europe and is the only species in the family tree frogs that occurs in Belgium and the Netherlands. The frog lives in open sunlit areas in relatively densely vegetated and fairly moist biotopes near water. It is a tree-dwelling species that dwells among the foliage. Its food consists of various invertebrates such as insects and the frog has various enemies such as birds and mammals. The tree frog is threatened in part of its range by a variety of human activities.

Body length is about 4 to 5 centimeters, the tree frog can be distinguished from all Western European frogs by its uniform light green color on the back and its relatively smooth skin without warts like toads or elongated glandular ridges on the back like many true frogs. The tree frog is also the only species in the Benelux whose fingers and toes carry adhesive discs.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
