Treasures from the orchard and garden by Hilda Weges

Nature never ceases to surprise us with its colours, shapes and flavours. For this botanical arrangement, I gathered a selection of fresh fruit, leaves and vegetables from the garden and orchard. A ripe apple, juicy grapes, glossy tomatoes, blueberries and various green leaves come together to form a colourful still life that showcases the bounty of a summer harvest.

Whilst putting this arrangement together, I was once again struck by the beauty of everyday produce. The veins in the leaves, the glossy skin of the tomatoes, the soft colours of the grapes and the deep blue of the berries reveal just how extraordinary nature really is. Against the calm white background, all the shapes and colours are given the space to come into their own, creating a fresh and contemporary composition.

This wall decoration brings the atmosphere of a garden teeming with life indoors and fits perfectly in a kitchen, dining room, restaurant or a modern interior where nature, sustainability and healthy eating take centre stage. A timeless work of art that invites you to take a closer look at the beauty of the harvest and the abundance of the season.
