About "Traditional rugs on a Moroccan wall"

About the artwork

Against a warm, earth-coloured wall in Marrakech's narrow streets hang two rugs, their patterns and colours vibrant but subdued. The left one shows a harmony of symmetrical lines and traditional Berber motifs, woven in warm shades of cream, red and black. The rug on the right is a playful collection of patchwork-like patterns, in which blue, terracotta and ochre tones dance with each other. The fraying at the bottom is a reminder of the craft passed down from generation to generation.

This picture was created while exploring Marrakech, where on every street corner colours and textures come together in a visual feast. The way these rugs rest against the wall, as if taking a break from their function as rugs, gave the image a special charm. They are not just decorative pieces; they carry stories, rooted in the culture and craftsmanship of Moroccan weavers.

The atmosphere is warm and authentic, a fusion of past and present. This work brings a touch of North African charm to any interior, a reminder of markets full of colour, the smell of spices and the soft sound of fabric moving in the wind.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
