About the artwork

The majestic Allgäu Alps rise up in all their splendour, and the Walmendinger Horn towers majestically at an altitude of 1990 metres in Kleinwalsertal, Vorarlberg, Austria. A breathtaking panorama stretches out before us, as if the peaks themselves were touching the sky. The landscape is a composition of natural forces and sublime beauty.
Suddenly the sky darkens and a gloomy drama announces the approach of a thunderstorm. Over the Walmendinger Horn, three mighty flashes of lightning discharge themselves, piercing the atmosphere with dazzling flashes of light. The Alps, normally bathed in sun-drenched splendour, are bathed in a surreal light by the force of nature.
The peaks tower like monumental sentinels, while thunder breaks the silence of the mountain world. Clouds swirl around the peaks in wild formations, as if they were performing the dance of the elements. The rain begins, gently at first, then in heavy showers that turn the mountain flanks into shining mirrors.
In this moment of nature's eruption, the omnipotence of the Alps is revealed. The Walmendinger Horn, a stoic witness to bygone eras, defies the storm while lightning illuminates the majestic backdrop. A scenario that captures the symbiosis between sublime beauty and unbridled power in a unique way and transforms the Kleinwalsertal into a timeless, poetic spectacle.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
