I discovered these enchanting, delicate cardoons during my extensive photo walk in the Blankenfelde-Pankow Botanical Park.
The subsequent colour toning in orange, which is comparable to the trend colour tangerine twist in the colour scale, gives the natural motif a warm, energetic mood that suits the autumnal season. The bokeh effect, i.e. the blurred effect in the background of the medicinal plant, transforms the picture into a particularly interesting image technique with a surreal, slightly dreamy mood.
The Pankow Botanical Park is part of the Barnim Nature Park. The park is located in the north-east of Berlin on the Barnim plateau and is an important part of this landscape.
