The photo was taken on an early, misty spring morning in the Palatinate Forest in south-western Germany
During my trip through the forest, I stumbled upon this scene of these three two-stemmed trees. The bluish fog combined with the bright green of the spring leaves completed the picture.
The silence during the photo shoot was serene, occasionally interrupted by the knocking of a woodpecker and the "barking" of a deer somewhere in the woods.
