About the artwork

In the head of beautiful Overijssel you will find the largest freshwater marsh area in Europe. Here is an excellent breeding ground as a basis for the growth of roof reeds.
During a wonderful cruise with an electric sloop through the Weerribben you can really enjoy the wonderful, beautiful nature and the intense tranquility. All around you there is the green of the trees and reeds on the banks with ferns and flowers in between. The reeds, when you stand on the boat, you see regularly in large "fields". It is among the best reeds in the world!
You sail the boat between the Water Lilies on the dark, clear water. In the water is the mirror of everything around it. Which makes the greenery even more impressive. The leaves of the Water Lilies reflect the sunlight. Along and over the boat fly and walk lots of dragonflies, damselflies, butterflies and other kinds of insects. You can hear the birds singing their song and feel the wind blowing through your hair on the sections that are a little wider. The narrower pieces are more sheltered.
In this photo I have captured a piece of the wonderful beauty of the Weerribben. The clouds with a tiny bit of blue sky give the photo a nice addition. Fortunately no splash of rain came out.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
