About ‘The three monks in Amsterdam’ by Peter Bartelings

On the outside of the New Church on Dam Square in Amsterdam you will find little shops like the Three Monks on Gravenstraat. Owner Peter Smits sells there self-made bead necklaces, among other things, as well as works by various photographers. Work by me is also sold there. In the small building on the left, which is located in Eggertstraat, there is another shop owned by Peter Smits, where you can have your photo's taken in which you are immortalised as, for instance, Johannes Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring.

About the image-maker: as a born and bred Amsterdammer, Peter feels a close connection with the city of Amsterdam. Over the years, he has captured the city of Amsterdam in many iconic works. Other cities at home and abroad also fill his portfolio. Landscape and macro photography are also part of his work.
Meanwhile, he has also earned his spurs as a digital artist, especially with adaptations of old masters.

Peters' work is widely sold and hangs on walls in various European countries.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
