I love nature and I get a lot of inspiration from it. I never tire of experiencing nature with all its life, smells and colours. With my photography, I try to capture beautiful nature. Sometimes as a landscape, but more often I photograph a beautiful flower, a beautiful leaf, a tree trunk and a mushroom. Insects, such as butterflies and beetles I also love to capture. The closer you get to the subject the more fascinating I find it. You then see the hairs, but also the colours that you cannot normally see with the naked eye.
And now for something completely different. What you don't see in the photo is an insect on a white flower with the reeds in the background. i have edited the photo into a digital abstract spiral. With this shape, I hope to give an impression of being sucked into the centre.
The alternation between white, yellow and dark green creates a powerful contrast. The dark background palette enhances the effect of the lighter rings, making the whole look even more intense.
