About the artwork

In the warm, golden light of the setting sun, an inquisitive Aruban Burrowing Owl sits alertly on a simple metal trellis, its bright, piercing eyes tightly focused on its surroundings. This endemic and iconic bird of Aruba exudes character and charm with its compact stature, speckled plumage and distinctive upright posture. Its plumage almost seems to light up in the soft evening light, where each feather subtly stands out against the hazy background of a summer grassy plain.

Surrounded by waving clumps of grass and the shimmering light of the low-lying sun in the background, the scene exudes a serene calm. Yet beneath that calmness, there is a sense of vigilance - as if the owl is taking in every detail, ready to spring into action at the slightest sound. Its presence feels almost like magic, as if it is the guardian of an ancient wisdom that only a few may witness.

As the last rays of the sun dye the landscape in shades of gold and amber, this small but proud owl watches over its territory, a silent but powerful witness to the unique and pristine beauty of the island of Aruba. A moment of pure balance between nature, light and life.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
