Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘The silence of the wings’ by Nordlicht Atelier

This photograph transports the viewer to a narrow, stone alleyway where time seems to stand still. At the centre of the composition is a group of pigeons that have settled between the high, weathered walls. I was inspired by the morbid beauty of decay – the crumbling masonry and the dull light that barely reaches the ground. It is a tribute to Venice beyond the postcard idyll, where the city reveals its mysterious, almost eerie elegance. The atmosphere of the image is deliberately heavy and a little enigmatic. I wanted to capture the feeling of loneliness and transience.
