They say that sleep is the brother of death. It is the unwelcome visitor, the unloved relative that is not welcomed, at least not most of the time.
Even as a child, I was somehow fascinated by the subject of death. I was afraid of it, but I was also curious and I watched every medical programme on TV at the time.
It's funny that I never became a doctor. But my fascination has remained and I like skulls. This picture even hangs on the wall in front of my desk, so it always reminds me not to forget life.
