About the artwork

A lone tree with twisted branches stands on a sandy shore, with a backdrop of turquoise water and a hazy sky. The scene captures a peaceful and breezy coastal environment.

The olive tree along Marmari Beach in Loggos on the unspoilt idyllic Greek island of Paxos. Where I lost my heart since 1988 to the beautiful olive groves, cypress trees, white "pebble" beaches, azure-aqua-coloured seawater-filled bays, high cliffs, sea caves and sweet Greek villages. The delicious smell of olive wood and the salty Ionian Sea.

An island where ordinary cosy families and the world-famous jet set celebrate their summer holidays. Mundane yet just simple and local. No mass culture here. This beautiful work portrays the island of Paxos at its best. Dreaming away and musing on the pleasantly warm summer sun and the wonderful Greek atmosphere. Painted plein air, Summer 2024.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
