The mouth of truth, the Italian translation is bocca della verita.
Beautiful piece of history in Rome that dates back to the Middle Ages.
The statue served as a lie detector, you put your hand in the mouth and when you lied the mouth closed and your hand was off.
Photo was taken in March 2020 (start of the corona pandemic)
