Although mountain climbing does not immediately comes to mind when one thinks of the flat polder landscape, there are surprisingly many mountains in Zuid-Holland. Some of these are natural, like the row of dunes along the coast, many other mountains have been created by human hands. This map, designed as a copper plate on a brown cardboard base, shows them all: The Donk, Chill Hill, the Head of the Great Plains, Mother Earth and many others. Put on your hiking boots and climb them all!
