An atmospheric painting of an almost deserted café at the end of the night.

The contrast between the warm neon lights and the bleakness of the outside world makes for an intriguing color composition that you can look at for hours. You feel the warmth but also the loneliness of nightlife. The warm glow from behind the glass slowly draws you in....

For the atmosphere I was inspired by the beautiful, world famous painting by Edward Hopper called Nighthawks

Wonderful painting to hang in a prominent place in the living room....or in the study, to dream away to another world every now and then.

So grab a glass of strong red wine, a strong French cheese and sit back and relax while you hear the French chansons in the background...
