About the artwork
"The heart of the fluffy bulb of a Dandelion" is a photograph taken of a fluffy bulb of a common Dandelion. The focus is on the heart of the fluffy bulb. Because a few fluffy seeds have already blown out, in this photo you can even see the heart in which the seeds are stuck, until they blow out.
When shooting, I chose a depth of field that is such that there is a sense of depth and at the same time calmness in the work. This also allows you to partly see through the front fluff (it made them very fuzzy), which feels natural. The background is quite even in colour and has a warm brown shade. The light falls nicely on the dandelion, making the white fluffy fluff nice and bright in colour.
This work, I think, fits very well in a rural interior, because of the subject matter, of course, but also in terms of colour. A natural-feeling photograph, of a beautiful little piece of nature!
