About the artwork

The heart of the dandelion. Nature's very first sign that spring has begun can be seen in fields full of bright yellow little dandelions. And although they are short-lived blooms, that first sight of spring to come is always a welcome one. Winter is over and spring has begun. When a dandelion has finished blooming, it will close its head after which, after a few days of dryness, it will burst into a perfectly round ball of fluffy fun. And it is only when you look very closely so very close and you see all those seeds In the shape of little umbrellas in front of you that you can't do anything but pluck the dandelion, and blow the seeds into the air very hard, very hard. I think every adult has a fond memory of this. As I remember it, the trick was to blow all the seeds into the air in one gulp and when you succeeded you were allowed to make a wish. I should have wished that time had stopped forever at that moment. That the warm spring sun the fields full of dandelions tight blue skies and the smell of freshly cut grass would last an eternity.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
