The grass has been cut and dried and packed into round hay bales, ready for collection here in the vicinity of Scotland's Muir of Ord. Muir of Ord is a village in the Scottish Highlands located on the Black Isle peninsula, about 20 kilometres west of Inverness and about 10 kilometres south of Dingwall with a population of about 1,800.
Muir of Ord has been served by a railway station on the Far North Line and the Kyle of Lochalsh Line since 1862. Near Muir of Ord is the Glen Ord Distillery, one of the few remaining whisky distilleries on Black Isle.
