Scheveningen's Ferris wheel, also known as "Het Reuzenrad aan Zee," is an iconic and imposing feature of the coastline of Scheveningen, the Netherlands. At about 50 metres tall, this Ferris wheel rises majestically above the promenade, making it a striking attraction for locals and tourists alike. Located on the Scheveningen Pier, the wheel offers breathtaking views of the North Sea, the beach and the surrounding area.
The Ferris wheel has 36 modern gondolas with large panoramic windows, allowing visitors to enjoy the view in comfort as they are slowly lifted up. Especially during sunset and evenings, the wheel is illuminated with colourful LED lights, creating an enchanting sight and a romantic atmosphere.
