The Faroe Islands is a sparsely populated small group of 18 islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. They lie between Iceland, Scotland and Norway and are connected to Denmark. The landscape is green and mountainous but there are hardly any trees. There are no major cities. The largest town in the northern part of the islands is Klaksvik. This also has an active harbour. There I found piles of many rusty manhole covers and other objects, which I really enjoyed photographing.
I got my first camera on my 8th birthday. Now, many cameras later, I have ended up with a 'full-frame' mirrorless camera and my passion for photography has become an important part of my life.
