A while ago, I came across a green caterpillar in my garden. And not just any caterpillar, mind you - a really big one! It was chilling out on a branch, as if it knew it would be in the spotlight. Of course, I couldn't leave my macro lens behind and crept up on it as close as I could. The photo I took was immediately spot-on: super sharp and full of detail.
But yes, just a nice photo is not enough for me. I have to make it my own. So I got on the computer and gave the caterpillar a digital upgrade. I played with colours, added some textures and gave the image a slight abstract twist. The original character of the caterpillar remained, of course, but now it has an extra layer of creativity.
The end result? An artwork that still has that relaxed, almost majestic look of the caterpillar, but with a unique twist. A small tribute to that one moment in my garden.
