Even a spent flower can have beauty in it. Especially in a black-and-white version. This series came about after a day's work in the garden. I cut off spent flowers and pulled weeds out of the ground. In my basket, beautiful shapes with wilted flowers emerged that inspired this drawing in pencil. The fragile leaves together with the composition make a beautiful drawing.
