About "The ambulances in New York"

About the artwork

An ambulance ion emergency that drove past us but war are they different in different countries! But also so beautiful in other countries for example in my country in the Netherlands they are just completely yellow but here they are pink and white with so many lights on them. I am totally fascinated with how these cars are different in different countries. And then with the bikes in the background which are very normal here in the Netherlands but actually so crazy and middle of the road there.

This is also what ambulances in New York have looked like for years, so also during 9/11, and I think the work that emergency workers had to do and did back then is really very special, so for me it's not only a very beautiful photo but also a photo with meaning, because how normal it seems to be to have an ambulance and the people driving in it, but a long time ago they were all on their way to one place and these people's lives were at stake and today there are still people doing the work

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
