About ‘The abandoned jetty’ by Prints to Love

A quiet wooden jetty reaches into the water, surrounded by forests and hills. The reflections and soft colours capture a moment of peace and contemplation in nature.

This watercolour illustration shows a wooden jetty stretching across the calm waters of a vast lake. The perspective invites the viewer to walk up the jetty and look out over the water, so to speak, themselves. The reflections of clouds and surrounding forests dance gently on the surface of the water, creating a sense of stillness and calm. Reeds and shrubs grow on either side of the bank, enhancing the natural setting. In the distance, forested hills rise under a sky full of soft, white clouds.

The atmosphere is peaceful and dreamy, as if time stands still for a moment. "The abandoned jetty" evokes feelings of peace, longing and contemplation - an invitation to dream away for a while in the beauty of nature.

I am Natascha, illustrator and storyteller, inspired by nature, animals and life in Swedish Lapland. In my work, I combine soft watercolour and gouache colours with a touch of magic. Foxes by a lake, misty forests and atmospheric cottages often feature in my illustrations. With my art, I want to convey peace, wonder and a sense of connection with nature.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
