About the artwork

This atmospheric aerial photograph shows the iconic Westkapelle lighthouse in Zeeland, rising beautifully above the village. As the sun slowly sets, the Golden Hour shows a beautiful colour palette of warm oranges and yellows that blend seamlessly into the deep blue of the approaching evening. The lighthouse, with its burning light for sailors, is the radiant centrepiece of the picture.

The whirled sky and breathtaking lighthouse would almost make you forget the quiet village below. With its typical red 'roof tile' roofs, surrounded by green trees and fields. In the distance, the North Sea glistens, almost merging with the horizon in the soft evening light. The calm landscape exudes a sense of tranquillity and timelessness, while the setting sun casts a golden glow over the surroundings.

This photo perfectly captures the charm of Westkapelle (near Zoutelande): a place where nature, history and everyday life, and tourism ;), come together. It is an invitation to discover the beauty of Zeeland's coast and take a moment to contemplate the simple but impressive moments nature offers.

As a Zeeuw, I already can't get enough of the Zeeland Coast, hopefully you won't either (soon)!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
