About ‘The Young Hero, Groningen’ by Henk Meijer Photography

Sunset at "The Young Hero", a polder mill (an eight-cornered reed-roofed ground-sailor on field walls) in the village of Leegkerk (near Slaperstil), in the former municipality of Hoogkerk near the city of Groningen.
The polder mill was built in 1829 and operated the De Jonge Held polder until the 1980s.
