As Frank Sinatra sings it in the song my kind of town, Chicago really is a city that sticks in your mind and keeps pulling you in. He sings about this building and that is not surprising because this the Wrigley building has been there since 1920 right next to the Michigan avenue bridge. Chicago is a young city (around 1800) but got a huge boost from a very devastating fire, which made the city very big very quickly through reconstruction. It's a cold city with a lot of wind, right below my vantage point where I shot this photo is another layer of Chicago, there are homeless people sleeping in tents at -2 degrees. The upper layer is the epitome of luxury, convenience and prosperity. This photo is made up of multiple shots with long shutter speeds.
