The grandeur of bygone days in a contemporary guise. Since the last renovation in 2005, the Town Hall has been home to the Municipal Executive, the Municipal Council and staff. Leeuwarden Town Hall was built in 1715 in classical baroque style by town carpenter Claes Bockes Balck. This photo clearly shows the old grandeur of the Town Hall.
