Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘The Staircase Where Time Was Left Behind’ by Rudi Pratama

This artwork reveals a dimly lit interior space centered around a wooden staircase leading upward into uncertainty. The surrounding brick walls feel aged and enclosed, marked by shadows, dust, and delicate spider webs that suggest long abandonment. A single warm lamp hangs above, casting a soft glow that barely pushes back the darkness. At the base of the stairs, a suitcase rests quietly beside a fallen clock, its glass shattered, frozen at an unknown moment in time.

The inspiration for this piece comes from moments of pause—times when life seems to stop before a decision is made. The staircase symbolizes transition and choice, while the broken clock represents time no longer moving forward in a conventional way. The suitcase hints at departure, memory, or a journey interrupted before it could truly begin.

The atmosphere is tense yet contemplative, filled with silence and unanswered questions. There is a sense that something important has already happened, or is about to happen, but remains unseen. This artwork invites the viewer to imagine the story behind the scene and reflect on their own moments of hesitation or change.

Created with careful attention to light, shadow, and symbolic objects, this piece emphasizes emotional depth through minimal action. In an interior setting, it functions as a powerful focal point—ideal for spaces that embrace introspection, storytelling, and visual drama rooted in mystery and time.
