About "The Speicherstadt Hamburg at the blue hour"

About the artwork

The photo shows the Speicherstadt warehouse district in Hamburg, taken from the Poggenmühlenbrücke bridge during the blue hour. The historic brick buildings rise majestically on both sides of the canals. The facades of the industrial buildings are reflected in the calm waters of the canals. The warm lights of the illuminated warehouses create a fascinating contrast to the cool, deep blue sky, which is just turning into night. The moated castle, located in the centre of the picture, looks like a small fairytale castle between the impressive warehouse buildings and serves as a striking eye-catcher.

The atmosphere of the picture is calm, almost mysterious and at the same time full of warmth. The lighting of the warehouse buildings spreads a golden glow that offsets the coolness of the sky. The symmetry of the buildings and their reflections in the water lend the motif a harmonious, almost timeless beauty. The scenery appears to be from another era, at once modern and historical, urban and dreamy.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
