About ‘The South wall of the Grote Markt Groningen on a rainy evening’ by Evert Jan Luchies
Evening shot of the pubs located on the south side of the Grote Markt in the centre of the city 050 Groningen. All these pubs are interconnected, by the late hospitality tycoon Sjoerd Kooistra. The facades reflect in the wet paving stones caused by a rainstorm. This photo was taken on an evening in the spring of 2014.

1968. Lives on the edge of the most beautiful city in the Netherlands. Works at the limits of knowing. Photographs regularly since 2000, preferably with a tripod and seas of time. Makes 1000 photos to delete 950 photos. Camping, under the motto of "a holiday without sea and beach, is not a holiday". Drives alternately Volvo and Saab, in the colour black, just like I drink my coffee. Former Canon adept.
