The Royal Air Force Red Arrows for the 2013 season The Red Arrows is a demonstration team of the British Royal Air Force. Formed in 1965, the group then flew seven Folland Gnat jet trainers, but this was soon expanded to nine aircraft. In late 1979, the team was equipped with the BAe Hawk. The team is known worldwide and is one of the best demonstration teams. This picture was taken during the Air Force Days at Volkel Air Base.
