About ‘The Pineapple’ by Dick Carlier
A pineapple like castle. It was a building built in 1761 by the Earl of Dunmore as a summer residence.
At that time, pineapples were the most exotic fruit. Very special fruits and vegetables grew in the greenhouses there at the time.
It has now been refurbished and you can even stay there.
