Leeuwarden is an ancient city in the north of the Netherlands and also the capital of the province of Friesland. Leeuwarden was formed in the Middle Ages from three mound villages, including the mound village of Oldehove. In this photo you can see the tower known as The Oldehove. Originally, this tower was to be part of the great cathedral that the Catholic bishop of Leeuwarden wanted to build. The cathedral was to cover the entire, contemporary, plain and the tower was to be more than 115 meters high. Because of financial problems, the rise of Protestantism and subsidence, this cathedral was never built. However, this photo gives a wonderful shot at today's Oldehove. This photo is very unique and is not available anywhere else. For every purebred Liwwadder this is a photo that should really hang in your house. What are you waiting for? Order quickly, and soon it will be hanging on your wall!
