About ‘The Moon Sets At The Joostenlaan At Night’ by Mr White Takes Pictures
On a cold autumn evening in October, the moon shone in the clear sky. The photo shows the moon casting shadows from the trees on the cycle path of Joostenlaan at Haarzuilens estate near the pretty Utrecht village of Vleuten. In the blue of the night, the stars are also visible. The moon is low on the horizon and is sinking.

Mr White Takes Pictures
Vleuten, Netherlands
I am Martijn Wit and I like to photograph nature in my neighbourhood, but I also love to capture the city and the night. I love the play of light in combination with the vintage lenses I use. I like doing macro and close-up photography, so I often lie on my stomach among the bushes. My focus is often on the tranquillity that, if you look closely, can be found everywhere. So also in the busy city. Have fun in my shop and if you have any questions, please contact me.
