About "The Lone Traveler"

About the artwork

I am proud to present my latest work, "The Lone Traveler". A mix of photography and 3D rendering, this image takes the viewer to an American motel in the desert just before sunrise. The motel appears abandoned and deserted, yet lights are still burning through the fluorescent tubes suspended above the covered entrance. The wet road surface reflects the contours of the motel and the lights, creating an atmosphere of mystery and loneliness. The whole thing creates a special atmosphere reminiscent of film noir from the 1940s and 1950s, with the image of a man in a black mackintosh and hat looking or walking towards the motel completing the scene. Who is this lone traveller? Where is he going and where did he come from? The symbolism of the lone traveller in the desert can be seen as a metaphor for life. We are all travellers on our own life journey, seeking destinations and answers to questions that preoccupy us. But sometimes it feels like we are alone in this quest, as if we are the only ones walking this road. With "The Lone Traveler", I want to invite viewers to reflect on their own life journey, and to realise that although it can sometimes feel lonely, we are never really alone. The work reminds us that we can always reach new destinations and create new opportunities, no matter how dark and vast the desert of our lives may seem.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
