The Kaagmolen is a polder mill built in 1654 to drain the Kaagpolder. In 1879, a steam pumping station was installed next to the mill, acting as an auxiliary pumping station; main drainage was done by wind power.
In the ditch, boats lie at the quay, surrounded by a thin layer of ice after moderate night frosts.
