The Jozef Israëlskade In Amsterdam in autumn.
Literally around the corner from me.
The quay is named after the painter Jozef Israëls (1824-1911).
The Jozef Israëlskade is located on the south side of De Pijp. This neighbourhood forms the eastern part of the former Oud-Zuid district and is called Nieuwe Pijp. The quay starts at Ruysdaelkade and extends for several kilometres to Amsteldijk and the Amstel River. The water along the quay is called the Amstel Canal. On the other side of this canal is the Amstelkade. The quay extends across the postcode areas 1072, 1073 and 1074.
