The grizzly bear is the second largest subspecies of Ursus arctos after the Kodiak bear. Standing on his hind legs he can reach a height of 3 meters and weigh up to 600 kg. The bear is built to search and dig for food in the ground. The grizzly bear has a very distinctive large protruding muscle between the shoulder blades, which gives it great strength in the front legs.[1] The nails of the grizzly bear are also sharp and long (about 10 cm), and suitable for digging in the earth. The snout of the grizzly bear is quite long and has a curved shape. The ears are rather small and round.
