About "The Frisian village of Deinum"

About the artwork

The Frisian village of Deinum lies between the cities of Franeker and Leeuwarden and on the van Harinxmakanaal. The village has about 1,000 inhabitants, but make no mistake: This is a unique village, with a strong social base. Deinum was founded around the era on a mound, and from there the village grew rapidly. Thanks in part to its location between two important towns and on the Middelzee, it was an important trading stop. With the construction of the railway line between Leeuwarden and Harlingen, the village even got a station. Today Deinum has a close-knit community, which is proud of the village. Perhaps that is why this beautiful and unique aerial photo is symbolic of this beautiful village: The sun's rays cast their light on the village. In the distance you can see Franeker and even Harlingen and the Wadden Sea. You don't often find a photograph like this, and it is for sale as a unique work at Werk Aan De Muur. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
