About "The Flowerchild"

About the artwork

Girl with garland of flowers in her long hair. She looks sweet and innocent. I made this work following a meditation I did. Until about the age of 7, you automatically adopt your parents' programmes: their way of thinking, feeling and acting. You also often unconsciously adopt limiting beliefs, unmet needs, traumas and survival behaviours. These programmes become embedded in your whole system: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It's your 'comfort zone': it's what you're used to, even if it doesn't feel right. The connection with yourself becomes less and less. Your body loses its elasticity. Your mind loses authenticity. You live more from your thinking than from your heart. The inner child cries out for attention, but the growing child is far too busy controlling and surviving. Every human being has to deal with this inner division, tension, dependency and separateness. You need life to learn how to come home to yourself again. Every situation and mirror is an opportunity to grow, become aware, learn, experience who you really are, what you need and how to live from unconditional love. This work reminds me of my inner child, that I am already home. Go play, go create! Put flowers in your hair.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
