The Dahlia Girl

I have always been fascinated by the connection between nature and humans – how something as small as a child can stand beside a flower that feels larger than the world. This image is a tribute to the wonder and stillness that I so often find in my own garden. It is a place where not only flowers grow, but also thoughts, dreams, and stories.

The dahlia is a flower that, to me, symbolizes both strength and fragility. It is perfect in its symmetry yet soft and alive. Just like the child in the image – a small person in a vast world, curious but also safe in the presence of nature.

Through my images, I want to create a space for stillness and imagination. I want the viewer to feel the same sense of calm and wonder that I experience when I stand in my garden, where time slows down and nature is both a refuge and a source of inspiration.

Perhaps the girl in the image is a symbol for all of us – in our encounter with the beauty and power that nature provides. Perhaps she is a reminder that we still carry curiosity and the child within us.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
